What type of silk is used for the face mask and pouch?

The silk is of premium quality, crepe silk 62 grams. The silk is block printed, which means that two masks of the same design will have subtle differences in patterns.

What fabric is on the inside of the mask?

Our silk face masks are made with three layers - top layer is premium crepe 62 gram silk, with second and third layers 100% poplin cotton for ultimate comfort. The third layer is on the inside of the face mask.

Can I insert filters in the face mask?

There is no pouching for filter insertion. We find that a single layer of silk and two additional layers of cotton provide sufficient barrier protection without the need for filters.

Can I purchase face mask in different sizes?

The face masks comes in one size.

The approximate measurements for the pleated style are 7”(W) x 4”(H), opening up to a maximum of 6.5”.

Please note these measurements are approximate and exclude the length of the elasticated ear loops.

Do the face masks have adjustable ties?

No. They have elasticated loops in one size. We find the elasticated loops covered with poplin cotton fabric are versatile and more kinder to the skin.

Do I need to wash my silk products before using it?

The crepe silk is prewashed before tailoring. However, it is not washed after tailoring. The majority of our customers do not wash them before first use but you may decide to do so. Please note that we cannot accept returns if the product has been washed.

How do I take care of my silk face mask and pouch?

Silk is a naturally delicate material and we recommend hand wash using a gentle detergent and line-dry. Ironing the face mask and the pouch will give it a nice crisp finish.

Can I return my face mask?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on face masks and face coverings for hygiene reasons. However, if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, please email us on info@poppybells.com, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. We will send instructions on how and where to return your defective / damaged item. We will be happy to replace the defective / damaged item. However, where you do not desire a replacement, the shipping / postage costs paid for the original purchase of the item(s) are non-refundable.

Is the hand sanitiser suitable for vegetarians?

Yes, the hand sanitiser is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Can I return my hand sanitiser?

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on flammable liquids such as hand sanitisers. However, if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, please email us on info@poppybells.com so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. We will send instructions on how and where to return your defective / damaged item. We will be happy to replace the defective / damaged item. How do I return a purchase?

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@poppybells.com. If your return is accepted, we will send instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping / postage costs for returning your item(s) to us.

My product is faulty. What is your refund policy?

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Please note that shipping / postage costs paid for the original purchase of the item(s) are non-refundable.

When will get the refund for my returned item?

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund depending on your card issuer's policies.
